Welcome Physical Education, Recreation, Human Kinetics & Kinesiology Alumni!
The UBC School of Kinesiology works with donors and alumni to help enhance the student learning experience, research excellence, and community engagement in pursuit of UBC’s Place and Promise, and the School of Kinesiology’s Strategic Plan.
The School of Kinesiology is proud to recognize the nearly 7,000 alumni of the School of Physical Education, Recreation Education, Human Kinetics and now Kinesiology that make up it’s community. Whether you are a graduate of 1963 or a graduate of 2010, we’re always looking for ways to connect with our alumni. Our goal is to engage School of Kinesiology alumni and donors in the life of the Faculty as valued supporters, advocates, and life-long learners.
As a UBC Physical Education and Recreation, Human Kinetics or Kinesiology alumnus/a, you have a lot to offer and can make a significant contribution to the Faculty and student community. Volunteering is often an enriching and personal rewarding experience, it’s a great way to stay involved with your alma mater, meet new people, and add value to your degree while also giving back to current students or recent graduates.
The UBC School of Kinesiology is proud to have such generous and supportive donors and alumni in our community. Philanthropic support enables the university to pursue projects and initiatives beyond core funding. The School of Kinesiology’s Development & Alumni Engagement office works with donors and alumni to help facilitate philanthropy in areas of meaning to you, while enhancing the student learning experience, research excellence, and community engagement in pursuit of UBC’s Place and Promise, and the School of Kinesiology’s Strategic Plan. We are currently seeking to create a Chair in Adapted Physical Activity. If there is an area of education you would like to support now or in future, we welcome a conversation to learn more about your wishes and interests.
