Job description

On Sunday, June 4, 2017, SFU will play host to the 21st Annual Run Up for Down Syndrome. Close to 1,000 people of all ages and abilities will descent upon SFU – Burnaby campus to run and walk together in celebration and support of individuals with disabilities, in particular Down syndrome.

Whether it be setting up or taking down tents, assisting children in the KidZone or directing participants along the course, or helping out with registration, our volunteers are appreciated and are guaranteed to have fun at every turn.

Volunteers will receive food vouchers, refreshments, a letter of volunteer participation upon request and a unique volunteer T-shirt.

Date: June 4, 2017

Where: SFU Burnaby Campus Parking Lot B

Qualifications: Over the age of 18, positive attitude and willingness to help with any task at hand.

Hours/time commitment
Time commitment: Approximately 5 hours from 7am to 12noon.
