National Indigenous Physical Activity Awareness Week (NIPAAW)


National Indigenous Physical Activity Awareness Week (NIPAAW) is June 21st – June 27th.

NIPAAW aims to promote physical activity in urban and rural Indigenous communities in Canada through organizing fun and simple initiatives to improve overall health and wellness. During this week, people are encouraged to engage in physical activity with their family, community, and workplace to Show Their Active Spirit by participating in activities, traditional games, contests and downloading a tool kit.
