The UBC School of Kinesiology works internationally with academic institutions, researchers, exercise, and health and wellness organizations to expand the framework of the study of human movement to a global context.

Current UBC students can apply to study abroad at over 200 of UBC’s partner schools in 40 countries. If you opt for a Kinesiology-specific exchange, you’ll find that UBC School of Kinesiology has partnerships with some of the best kinesiology programs around the globe.

International students who wish to study at the UBC School of Kinesiology can select from a number of options that include for credit and non-credit programs.

UBC has an extended international network of alumni and the School of Kinesiology has alumni representatives who are active in a number of countries.

Vancouver Summer Program in Kinesiology (VSP)

VSP is a four-week academic program, offering international students a unique opportunity to experience Canadian health, sport, and exercise science at its best.

Study Abroad

International exchanges allow UBC KIN students to complete a semester or a year of study at a partner university. Students have the opportunity to explore, learn and grow abroad, all while earning credit towards a KIN degree.
