On October 26th, a new UBC festival that celebrates the tradition of student leadership and advocacy, and recognizes the rich history of the Musqueam people on the lands of the UBC Vancouver campus, took place.

As part of the Great Trek Festival, the Fall Classic Run route travelled through the Vancouver campus acknowledging the storied Musqueam tradition of running and also the footsteps of those original students.

The Director of the School of Kinesiology Dr. Robert Boushel ran in the President’s Challenge along with other KIN Staff and Faculty.
