Congratulations Anne Lasinsky on receiving the Killam Graduate Teaching Assistant Award.
Anne, a fourth year doctoral student in kinesiology, will be graduating later this summer upon defence of her thesis.
Her research meets at the intersection of research and policy, involving the creation and evaluation of a provincial health initiative for children with obesity.
During her time in the School of Kinesiology, Anne has been the teaching assistant for two of our courses across four years, and has taught three separate courses as a sessional instructor.
In addition to completing the Instructional Skills Workshop and numerous other training sessions at the Centre for Teaching and Learning Technology, she has also served as the TA Training Coordinator for our School, helping to create a training program for new and returning teaching assistants.
She has also served as the Graduate Student Representative in the School for two years.
