Kinesiology Peer Academic Coaching (KPAC)

The Kinesiology Peer Academic Coaching (KPAC) Program is a peer leadership program that supports the undergraduate student learning experience. The program is run by a team of dedicated volunteer student leaders who aim to enhance the student experience at UBC by helping students navigate their academics through achieving a better understanding of themselves as learners and discussing their experience holistically.

Kinesiology Peer Academic Coaches are friendly, inclusive, and knowledgeable upper-year Kinesiology students who know what it’s like to study and learn in Kinesiology. Through one-on-one coaching conversations and the delivery of academic skills workshops, they aim to provide fellow Kinesiology students with strategies and resources to improve their academic experience.
  • Peer coaches can confidently and knowledgably assist peers in the following areas:
    o Study strategies
    o Prioritization and time
o How to approach an academic task
o Ways to get involved on campus

Drop by the Chapman Learning Commons in IKBLC during our drop-in hours for a one-on-one coaching session! Drop-in hours will be updated in September 2023.

You can also email kpac.coaching@gmail.com to schedule an appointment for a time that works for you.
