Robert Boushel, Jose Calbet (Affiliate professor), Hans Christer Holmberg (Affiliate Professor), and colleagues have published a study investigating Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE2) in skeletal muscle. ACE2 enzymes generate proteins that control blood pressure.
