Celebrating Our 75th Anniversary!

In 2021, the School of Kinesiology celebrated its 75th anniversary. All were invited to join us in marking this significant milestone.

The School of Kinesiology is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people; The land it is situated on has always been a place of learning for the Musqueam, who for millennia have passed on their culture, history, and traditions from one generation to the next on this site.

Throughout its 75-year history, the School’s innovative researchers, inspiring teachers, dedicated staff, and outstanding graduates have impacted the world through fostering individual and societal health and wellbeing through physical activity and sport.

Today, the School of Kinesiology stands first in North America and fourth in the world – a reflection of the quality of our education and research, and the strength of our students, faculty, staff, and graduates.
